Wailupes/Boneyards

- Honolulu County, United States

( rated by 1 user )

A couple of fun wave options straight out in front of the Wailupe pennisula. Neither break is really visible from the road. To access, paddle along the peninsula and thru the dredged channels, and then hook out until you are in front of the houses on the peninsula. Boneyards is the left towards the West side of the peninsula, and Wailupes is the right on the Eastern side. Both spots can hold some size, with Wailupes breaking into a deeper channel. Don't get too far inside or you'll be scraping your fins. Long paddles keep the crowds down. Wayyyyyy out there, so probably best to head out with a buddy in order to add numbers beside yourself to the food chain.
