Its that time of the week again where we look back on a week of catching waves to see all of the surfing highlights that have been uploaded to GlassyPro over the past 7 days. I’m sure you’re all pretty used to the routine now but this week we have changed it up a little, however to start with here are the weeks longest session, most popular spot, most improved surfer and the max swell.
The longest session this week is from a Glassy User who we have featured a few times in Surf’s up with Glassy, SHOUTOUT to Asbjørn Brevik. Spending a good amount of time catching waves each week. Nice one, Keep it up!
You guys really do love this spot! We have seen it a number of times coming up as the most popular, we know it well and how good it is. Topping the charts most weeks is this spot in the North of Spain, check it out!
Most popular spot: 11 sessions at Mundanka, ESP
Who in the past 7 days as managed to rack up the most time surfing, well we’ll tell you its a massive SHOUTOUT to Massimo Rebizzi (again) consistently coming out on top of our most improved surfer over the weeks past. Keep it up Buddy!
Most improved surfer: 19h 15min
This week our users have upload surf sessions with some pretty big surf but the biggest and gnarliest waves we have seen from our data have been ravaging Donegal up on the Northwestern coast of the the Republic of Ireland.
Max swell: 9.5m at Loughros Moore Bay, IRL
Below is the new feature to Surf’s up with Glassy! Basically earlier on in the week we gave you guys a little task, nothing difficult we just wanted to see what our Glassy user could come up with and its safe to say we had a good response. We asked for photos of your boards in your quiver and just some generally sick pics of your surf.
The first photo we’ve got for you this week was sent in through #TakeTheNextWave on twitter by Turtle on twitter as @c_kreature. A sick pic from a surf session in a spot called Blackies in Newport.
The second photo and finishing up our weekly report was sent in by one of our Glassy Users Monkey Surf @surfmonkey2004, of his sick surfboard. 9’ 8” Elite Pintail is a single fin longboard as you can see which is super fun to log, great pic and a great board keep them coming in!
Next week there will be another instalment of “Surf’s up with Glassy” so you have a whole 7 days to get out there and track your surf sessions and maybe your name will appear in next weeks edition! If you haven’t already downloaded to app its available at both the Appstore and GooglePlay. Remember if you make it on This Week at Glassy and you’ve uploaded a photo of your surf or a photo of your board/quiver we will include in the report and show your spot and gear to the whole Glassy Community!
Remember to #TakeTheNextWave and upload your surf sessions for us to see!
